24-Hour HAZWOPER Training is designed for hazardous waste and emergency response workers who must satisfy their 24-hour HAZWOPER training requirement.
The standards under 29 CFR Part 1910.120 (e) require employees to complete appropriate HAZWOPER training prior to entering or beginning work on an uncontrolled hazardous site.
This course includes an 8-hour practical animal decontamination exercises working with live animals from service, working and companion animals to livestock. A large animal livestock system is provided for low stress handling. Meets the requirement for FEMA participation of animal decontamination exercise.
Agency Requirements: Classroom, AV Equipment, Large outdoor space for practical exercise, provide 2-3 livestock (horses, cattle, sheep or goats). Minimum 15 participants.

Type 3 FEMA Resource team 8 people
